Hey there 🙂 Today I’ve got a little tutorial to show you. It’s something really basic and everyone could come out with that but I just felt in the mood to make a tutorial 😛 Olá olá 🙂 Hoje tenho um pequeno tutorial para mostrar. É algo super básico e toda a gente podia lembra-se disso mas ‘tava com vontade de fazer um tutorial 😛

You’ll need an aquarium (I choose a small one), sand, spoon and seashells (everytime I go to the beach I like to bring some :P) Precisa de um aquário (eu escolhi um pequeno), areia, uma colher e conchas (sempre que vou à praia trago algumas :P)
I boiled my sand in water for a while because I was afraid of what kind of bacteries could be in the sand, after that I let it dry in the sun covered in a cloth. Eu fervi a minha areia em água por algum tempo porque tinha medo do tipo de bactérias que poderiam existir na areia, deixei depois secar ao sol coberto por um pano.
Next pour the sand to the aquarium with the spoon. You can do it without the spoon but it was easier for me this way. Depois por a areia no aquário com uma colher. Pode ser feito ser uma colher mas foi mais fácil para mim desta maneira.
Finally arrange the seashells 🙂 Here’s mine in my bathroom window: Finalmente coloque as conchas e organize-as da melhor forma 🙂 Aqui está o meu aquário na janela da casa de banho:
I want to put a plant on it someday, I think it might look really cute 🙂 Just need to find one perfect for it ^__^ I might do more to decorate my bathroom, I love when bathrooms are decorated with the beach theme ❤ it always look amazing 🙂 Quero por uma planta nela um dia, acho que ficaria muito fofo 🙂 Só preciso de arranjar uma perfeita para isso ^__^ Talvez faça mais para decorar a casa-de-banho, acho lindo quando as casas de banho estão decoradas com um tema de praia ❤ fica sempre lindíssimo 🙂

Here’s my week project, it was something I’ve been working during the week, small bits here, small bits there without any pressure, and I think it looks pretty, I wanted something like this, in some way weird but equally pretty. Aqui está o meu projecto da semana, foi algo que fui trabalhando pouco a pouco sem pressões, acho que até ficou bonito, queria que fosse assim, de certa forma estranho mas igualmente bonito. Espero que gostem.

In the beginning I was thinking about making something completely different but I guess during the creative process I started to do something different of what I pictured before. No início era para fazer algo totalmente diferente mas acho que durante o processo criativo começou a tornar-se completamente daquilo que tinha em mente anteriormente.
Here is the mini tutorial, it’s not any science but I was thinking it might be helpful for someone. Aqui está o mini tutorial, não é exactamente ciência mas penso que possa ser útil a alguém.
1 – Carefully, glue cardstock in the cover of the notebook to make it more sturdy. Let it dry. Com cuidado, cole cartolina na capa do caderno para o fazer mais duro. Deixe secar.
2 – Apply a decoupage napkin in the cover with decoupage glue. Go wild here! I ripped the napkin several times and tried different shapes just to see what would go better. Let it dry. Aplique um guardanapo de decoupage na capa com cola para decoupagem. Não tenha medo de ser diferente aqui! Eu rasguei o guardanapo várias vezes e tentei diferentes formas para ver o que ficava melhor. Deixe secar.
3 – Write or not in your cover. With watercolour I put some minor details in the cover. I also used pencils to write “Knitting Tricot”, since they were watercolor pencils I could play around a bit. Escreva ou não na capa. Com aguarelas pus alguns pequenos detalhes na capa. Também usei lápis para escrever “Knitting Tricot”, como eles eram daqueles de aguarela pude também brincar um pouco com isso.
The best thing you’ll do is let your creativity talk, it’s so much fun! I’m not sure about what will other people think about mine but since I love what I did I don’t care 😀 Be free!
